Setting up Your Search Engine Visibility Account

Search Engine Visibility provides a user-friendly tool for learning about and targeting best practices for optimizing your website's visibility. Once you setup your account, you can begin using the tools to increase your search engine rankings and Web visibility.
To Set up Your Search Engine Visibility Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Search Engine Visibility.
- In the Search Engine Visibility account list, click Setup Account for the new account you want to set up. The Manager opens to the Quick Setup for Search Engine Visibility tab.
- In the Profile name field, choose an existing profile from the list or click create a new profile.
- If you are creating a new profile, complete the following, and then click Continue:
- Email address
- The email address you want to associate with this account
- Profile Type
- Business or Personal
- Post my profile to the Business Directory
- Click to activate
NOTE: You can update your business registration profile at any time. Log in to your Business Manager or see Managing Your Business Registration Profile for help.
- I have read and agree to the Search Engine Visibility License Agreement
- Click to agree
- In Website Address, enter the website address to be associated with this account. NOTE: The address must be in this format: http://www.coolexample.com.
- From the Region menu, select your country.
- If applicable, select an additional region of that country.
- Select if this website contains adult content.
- Click Continue.
- Confirm that you have entered the correct website address, and then click Continue.
- View the associated website addresses, and then click Continue.
- To begin configuration of your Search Engine Visibility account, click Go To Search Engine Visibility.
