Using the FTP File Manager to Rename Files or Directories in Your Hosting Account

To Rename a File or Directory in Your Hosting Account Using the Hosting Control Center's FTP File Manager

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click FTP File Manager.
  5. Use the directory tree to navigate to the file or directory you want to rename.
  6. Select the file or directory and click the Rename button.
  7. In the Rename field, enter the new file or directory name you want to use.
  8. Click OK.

The file or directory will be renamed with the new name you entered.
